I dreamed that I was wading in a marshy, dark-grey sea. Near to a never-ending shoreline. It was lined with the tallest buildings, kissing the water and reaching to the sky. They were made of sandstone and mirrored the colors of the horizon: red, orange, pink, yellow, and black. Half the sky above me and in front of me for miles was filled with black clouds (that resembled pockets of ravioli) filled with doom and rain. The other half was lit by the white-hot sun, burning the rest of them away. I was planted in a green and nauseous marsh next to the shore, with no escape to observing my other-worldly surroundings.
